Parkinson Harness Technology has the capability to assemble everything from a simple switching circuit to complex multi branch sealed and screened harnesses for use in harsh environments.

Harness designs can be uploaded from industry standard drawing software to our MRP system, ensuring harnesses are built efficiently, accurately and within our customers’ demanding lead times.

Our benefits

All our wiring harnesses are uniquely made to customer specifications and drawings. As an ISO 9001 approved company, we produce wiring harnesses to the highest quality standards and electrically test every product prior to dispatch.
If you don’t have your own harness work norms, we are trained to IPC A-620 standard and will apply these to your requirement. From your drawing, we will produce a complete set of work instructions ensuring that every feature of every circuit is captured in our build. Finally we will test all circuits for the correct net of continuity as well as diode directions and resistance values.
And of course all our workmanship is fully warranted.

Yes, we manufacture wiring harnesses based on your exact requirements.

What is the typical lead time?

Lead time depends on material availability, complexity and quantity required. However, we ensure fast turnaround for both prototypes and bulk orders.

How do you ensure product quality?

Work Instructions are produced to standardise the production method of all products, which on completion undergo precise testing and inspection to guarantee performance and reliability.

Do you support both small and large orders?

Yes, we handle everything from prototypes and small batches to high-volume production. However we do not do ‘one-offs’; for example, for restoration projects.

What information do you need to get started?

We require 3 things:

A dimensioned ‘harness stick drawing’ or a panel layout drawing; which also includes information on protective coverings.

A circuit plan and wire table, which relates to the drawing and lists out for each wire, its colour, cross section, length and destinations within the harness.

The Bill of Material, including either manufacturers and their part numbers or the specification standard of each component.
